There is even a relatively newer method for brewing coffee known as the cold water method. Cold water is mixed with grounds and placed in a refrigerator overnight. Then, the mixture is mixed with hot water to produce the coffee. The main benefit of this method is it reduces the amount of acid in the coffee. This is a great option for coffee-drinkers who have sensitive stomachs. However, you will need to settle for coffee which is not quite as tasty.
